Bayliner Boat Decking and Flooring Refurbishment Options
Decking and Flooring Overview
Bayliner is the best-selling brand on the water, with a huge line-up of boats that cover a wide range of activities. Their diverse offerings include outboard and stern-drive boats, bowriders, cuddies, cruisers, and deck boats. Areas that are enclosed under a canopy may be viewed as an internal or external space and customers will decide to use a marine carpet or decking option based on this fundamental decision. Exterior decking products considered to be good options are PVC synthetic teak, composite cork or EVA foam. PVC synthetic teaks looks the most realistic when comparing with a natural teak deck but it is not the most environmentally friendly and does get hot to walk on. Cork composite is a completely natural product and is more pleasant to walk on. EVA foam is an interesting option too being cool and comfortable to walk on but it is not as robust as the other decking products. Bayliner owners sometimes choose to depart from more traditional colours and caulking.
The Bayliner is typically supplied with a basic marine carpet. However, American Style Sportsboats have recently been moving towards woven vinyl as a standard option. There is a growing colour choice in this material so interior styling is now more variable according to customer tastes. New boat customers or those choosing to refurbish their interiors sometimes choose to upgrade and have an exterior decking product fitted. Other great looking and cost effective options are teak carpet.
